Consultation

Every project begins with a complimentary consultation where we will identify goals for your space, discuss project details, and take measurements.

You will receive a proposal for your space including custom solutions and expertly sourced products that meet your needs.

With your approval, all products will be purchased and delivered to your home prior to the start of the project.

Sort


Your organizing project begins with sorting through the items in your space to determine category groupings as well as things that may need to be relocated, donated, or thrown away.

Once everything is sorted, you’ll give your input on what to keep, donate, or relocate. This can be done in person or via text/call and usually takes about 20 minutes.

Simplify

After everything is categorized, it’s time to simplify your space! Your custom-designed organizational system will be set up using the pre-approved products chosen specifically for your space.

The end result will be functional, styled, and easy to maintain.

Labels are the finishing touch that guarantee everyone knows where things belong.

  • No, this is a “done-for-you” service meaning there is minimal involvement required from you. You will be kept informed as questions arise and nothing will be removed from your space without your approval. Should you want to be a part of the organizing process, you are certainly welcome to do so.

  • All organizing products recommended for your project (such as baskets, bins, hangers, shelving, drawer organizers) are purchased prior to the start of your project by Sort & Simplify Organizing, with your approval, and delivered to your home. All returns and exchanges are taken care of for you, and an invoice for the products used will be provided at the end of the project. There is no mark-up on products.

  • Every project is different and the timeline is dependent upon the number of spaces, the amount of stuff in each space, and the client’s goals and budget. An estimate will be provided after the in-home consultation.

  • Every project is different but to give you an idea, please see the package pricing above. Pricing does not include products. Any products needed for your project will be an additional cost and billed to you at the end of the project. There is no mark-up on products. Products are not required but most spaces benefit from at least some products to help contain your items and allow the finished result to be better maintained long term.

  • Please leave your space exactly as it is. The consultation is completely judgment-free and seeing how your space functions on a typical day allows us to create the best solution for you and your family.

  • Yes, an in-home consultation is required. Seeing your space in person and taking measurements helps you to get the most accurate estimate of the time to complete your project and any products that may be needed.

  • No, you will never be pressured to get rid of anything you want to keep. Together, we'll determine which items are important to you and find a way to incorporate them into the organizational system. However, most spaces benefit from at least some decluttering, which can mean either relocating items to other spaces or removing them from your home altogether. Ultimately, how many items you keep in your finished space is up to you.
